This is an exhibit of mail art postcards. All techniques and works in any medium are welcome, from cards made entirely by hand to completely digital creations. Artists may send their pieces by traditional postal mail or by email.

Jan Kavan - In the table of systematic classification I most likely belong to the category of the so called “deepsters/gravure printers”, that means those graphic artists who prefer the deep printing. In the same category there is a box called “etchers” and that is where I belong.

Theo van Gogh, tatara(?)-sobrinho-neto de Vincent Van Gogh foi assassinado ontem em Amsterdam. Ele lançou em agosto um filme sobre os maltratos que as mulheres muçulmanas sofrem. Este filme parece ter sido o motivo do crime.

A palavra “senior” tem o sentido de alunos de high school seniors, não de pessoas idosas, ok? É uma brincadeira com as poses forçadas horrendas que as/os debutantes fazem. Aliás, debutar já é horrível por si só…

Me achei, finalmente, no site do Festival de Avanca. O Avanca é um festival de animação em… em… Avanca! Não, sério… Avanca é perto do Porto, em Portugal. E lá tem um mega-ultra-super-vitaminado festival de animação. Eu mandei em 1998 o meu “Tão Longo Amor”, uma animação em 3D com o soneto de Camões “Sete Anos de Pastor”, que eu continuo achando lindo. Provavelmente vou achar lindo até morrer. Demorei a me achar no site. Talvez seja porque o título do filme está errado. Deve ser um problema de tradução… Nossa, estou hilária hoje. Vou parar enquanto é tempo.

Para aqueles que - como eu - são distraídos, o Clusty é um mecanismo de busca pós-Google. Ele junta em conceitos, ou idéias, as suas buscas. Então, por exemplo, uma busca por pérola, me retorna um conjunto de resultados relacionados com ostras, outro com Pérola Negra e por aí vai. É bem inteligente. E eu, é claro, resisti o quanto pude.
